Intelligent Membranes’ second year of supporting the Pink Ribbon Foundation began with a bang as headline sponsors of the 2022 Pink Ribbon Gala Dinner.
The event marked the Pink Ribbon Foundation’s 22nd anniversary. Thousands of pounds were raised on an evening that also brought to an end October’s breast cancer awareness month.
It was tuxedos and ball gowns at the ready for the Intelligent Membrane’s crew who took a 30 strong team of guests and staff to the event.
The dinner, which was held at Proud Cabaret Club on London’s famous embankment welcomed 200 guests including the Foundation’s trustees, patrons and celebrities such as Anthea Turner. The night, which was hosted by the Charity’s ambassador, Christine McGuinness, included various entertainers as well as the showcasing of the Pink Ribbon Foundation’s ongoing work.
The Pink Ribbon Foundation is a grant making trust with a mission to fund projects and provide financial support to UK charities which relieve the needs of people who are suffering from, have been affected by breast cancer, or who work to advance the understanding of breast cancer and its early detection and treatment.
Intelligent Membranes began their support in May 2021 with their “Phuck Off Cancer” campaign which saw all of the profits from a special Phuck Off protection product in pink donated to the charity.
The collaboration has been further strengthened in 2022-2023 with the gala dinner sponsorship and a fundraising golf day and weekend festival to come.
Adam White, CEO and Founder, Intelligent Membranes: “It was a privilege to attend the gala dinner as headline sponsors and to hear more about The Pink Ribbon Foundation’s outstanding work. It was a fantastic night all round celebrating 22 years of this phenomenal charity. We are proud to be involved and look forward to continuing our support for a long time to come.”
Lisa Allen, Head of Partnerships & Communication at The Pink Ribbon Foundation:
“We thank the team at Intelligent Membranes for all of their support and look forward to building on this partnership throughout 2023! Working together has been well received both by your staff and customers, and together we have created opportunities to raise both awareness and money to support those affected by breast cancer with the added benefit of positive PR for your brand. We could not ask for a more helpful and friendly partnership than that with Intelligent Membranes and we are grateful to Adam White for driving the partnership and caring about the cause – your donations, event sponsorship, thoughts and kindness are greatly appreciated and we look forward to working with you for many more years”.
