The GOAT Flexible Waterproof Coating Paint – Roller & Brush Grades
The GOAT Flexible Waterproof Coating Paint – Roller & Brush Grades
The GOAT is a flexible, solvent-free waterproof coating trusted on everything from single balconies to multi-storey commercial developments. Choose your grade above: the 18kg (Roller) standard-viscosity grade covers large flat areas quickly — flat roofs, basements, balcony and terrace waterproofing — while the 7.5kg (Brush / Poured) thicker grade is a higher-viscosity mix that won’t slump on upstands, parapets, verticals and detail work.
Ideal For: Waterproofing large flat areas of concrete or masonry such as flat roofs, balconies, terraces, basement walls, basement roofs and foundations — with the thicker grade for penetrations, connections and vertical details.
How’s It Applied? Brush, roller or poured (7.5kg grade)
What Makes The GOAT Unique? Unlike standard paints which require a temperature of 5°C or higher, The GOAT can be applied to damp surfaces at temperatures down to 0°C. It handles both positive and negative water pressure, can be left exposed and is UV resistant.
Technical Overview: The GOAT is a quick-drying, solvent-free reactive polymer that adheres to a vast array of surfaces.
Which colour?
⚪ White — the solar reflective roof. The GOAT in white reflects the sun instead of absorbing it, keeping roof surfaces up to 30–45% cooler — proven on our Dubai rooftop project, where the coated surface measured 15°C cooler in the full heat of the day. Cooler top floors, less air-conditioning load, longer membrane life. Read more on our Solar Reflective Roofing page.
⚫ Black — the classic roof finish. The natural choice for overlaying felt and asphalt roofs and keeping the traditional look.
🔘 Grey — balconies & terraces. A clean, architectural finish for walk-on balconies, terraces and visible details.
Every colour is the same certified membrane underneath — same waterproofing, same 25-year assessed working life.
Tested & Certified — European Technical Assessment
The GOAT is a CE-marked, liquid-applied roof waterproofing kit, independently assessed by ETA-Danmark under ETA-25/0471 (EAD 030350-00-0402):
- 🏅 25-year assessed working life (category W3)
- 🔥 External fire performance BROOF(t1) (EN 13501-5)
- 💧 Watertight — assessed for roofs, terraces and balconies
- 💨 Wind load resistance >50 kPa
- 🏋️ Impact & load resistance — dynamic P3, static P4 (special) on concrete
- 📐 All roof slopes S1–S4 (<5% to >30%)
- 🌡️ Surface temperatures −20°C to +80°C (TL3 / TH4)
- 🧵 System includes CORNER BAND and NW MESH T30 for joints, corners and crack bridging
Performance data
- 💧 Watertight — no mass uptake at 150 kPa (EN 14891)
- 🧱 Crack-bridging 1.15–1.84 mm — versus 0.75 mm required
- 🧵 ~344% elongation at 1.35 MPa (EN 527-3) — moves with the building
- ☀️ Cool-roof white — 83% solar reflectance, SRI ~104, stable after 4,000 h UV
- 🔗 Adhesion — metal & CLT ~1.17, plywood ~0.99 N/mm²; bonds to PVC & EPDM (0.32) for roof refurbishment (EN ISO 4624)
