What is BPEC Training?
BPEC training provides participants with a qualification recognised by industry competent persons schemes such as HVCA and NICEIC.
The training teaches valuable knowledge about the importance of ventilation as well as crucial skills to ensure that installation best practice is adhered to. Ultimately, this promotes stronger performance and efficiency from domestic ventilation systems.
The course is designed to meet the requirements in the Domestic Ventilation Compliance Guide 2010 for the installation, inspection, testing, commissioning, and provision of information for Fixed Domestic Systems for both new and existing residential buildings.
Those that complete the course will be equipped to:
- Install domestic ventilation systems
- Inspect and test types of domestic ventilation systems commonly installed throughout the UK
- Commission and provide information for common types of domestic ventilation systems
Who’s The Training Aimed At?
The training is aimed at anyone who wants to learn the fundamentals of domestic ventilation systems. This includes:
- Self-builders
- Large Developers
- Installers (Experienced Plumbers and Electricians)
- Applicants who hold a formal qualification at NVQ Level 3 in plumbing, heating or electrical engineering
- Applicants who are currently undertaking a course in plumbing, heating or electrical engineering, which will lead to a formal qualification such as NVQ Level 3 in plumbing, heating or electrical engineering
